Welcome ….from the Founder of Abundant Joy ~

“The path to peace is a journey of quieting the mind & opening the heart”  Banyan Tree & Karen 2015

Abundant Joy Yoga & Wellness founder, Karen Rudolph and long-time practitioner of Hatha Yoga has been serving the community of Oconomowoc and beyond for over two decades.

We understand the mind-body-spirit connection, and enJOY sharing tools and techniques with students, in assistance with their level of healing, relaxation and well-being.

Karen experienced her own amazing journey of transformation and healing.  After years of playing racquetball, she injured her back so severely that it took her out of the sport completely. In the late 80’s, a massage therapist recommended that she try Yoga.  She began to experience the positive effects physically and mindfully of Yoga and quickly learned the power of relaxation. In the late 90’s, Karen left her corporate position to pursue a career in the Holistic/Alternative field at a Wellness Center.

With her years of Instructional experience in the corporate world, it seemed only natural that she would teach something she loved doing, Yoga. While teaching Yoga at the Wellness Center, she decided to study the practice deeper.  She has since personally trained in many styles of Yoga, taught a Teacher Apprenticeship program, and has become Certified as an Instructor. After much learning and personal growth, she believes in sharing all that she has learned and encourages others to live a life with peace and happiness.
Not only has she been able to return to racquetball but she continues to enJOY biking, hiking, kayaking and anything in nature with her husband and two children.

Abundant Joy Yoga & Wellness was established in 2011 with the intention to help others, help themselves with their Wellness journey.

Karen is honored to work beside some of the best Practitioners in our area, some that she has known for many years and some that are new to their area of specialty.

“We have a team of highly skilled and friendly Practitioners who are the heart and soul of the positive energy you will feel when you walk in our door.                                Abundant Joy cares deeply about educating our Community and helping our clients have a better understanding of living in the                                                                   precious present with Joy. You are in good hands~”     Karen Rudolph
