I first set foot on a yoga mat in 2001 and instantly knew that there was no greater place on earth. After 10 years of devoted practice, I decided that I MUST share this wonderful gift of balance and inner peace with the rest of the world! As a result, I completed a 200hr Teacher Training Program, became a Certified Instructor and am blessed to be teaching at Abundant Joy Yoga and Wellness. My yoga classes are a Hatha style which is a gentle, yet challenging practice to develop strong muscles and bones. They include a strong meditation component to assist with releasing tension from the mind and body and promote balance and inner peace. The focus is to clear the mind, open the heart and strengthen the body. I hold a Bachelors of Science in Social Work and a Bachelors of Science in Natural Health. I am devoted to assisting clients in achieving optimal health and a natural, balanced life. I look forward to assisting you on life’s wonderful journey, on and off the mat.
